MID-MONTH MEETING-USUALLY HELD ON SATURDAY, TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE LAST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH, THIS WILL BE A CASUAL, FUN GET TOGETHER, AIMED AT IMPROVING ONE'S "UKING," WHILE HAVING FUN, STRUMMIN' AND SINGIN'. The list of songs we will work from is HERE. Please download the songs (from the main songlist) and bring them with you. We meet at Atria Glastonbury, 1177 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Beginners 9:45-11am (this is now the only opportunity, besides my Adult Ed course, to learn from scratch-no more beginners' session the morning of the BIG SING). 11-1pm for the regular mid-month session.

Purpose: For ukulele enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to meet regularly to play songs, share techniques, and, hopefully, learn a thing or two.

Who: Anyone who plays the ukulele, or wants to learn to play. We invite frustrated or "lapsed" guitarists of any ability to see how easy it is to play your favorite songs on the ukulele. For those without instruments, ukuleles will be available for “testing the waters” at meetings.

When: Usually two meetings each month. The next meetings will be:

MID-MONTH MEETING- We have not yet resumed mid-month meetings

BIG SING-The next BIG SING will be Saturday, November 19, 2022. 9:30-10:30 we practice the songs we will play. 11-12 we accompany the BIG SING, a monthly community-wide singalong

MID-MONTH-Atria Glastonbury, 1177 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury

BIG SING-Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury, CT

Why: Because it’s fun, it’s free, and, simply put, “it can change your life.”

Our HOLIDAY BIG SING will be held on December 17, 2022. Please note the different time for the performance: 12 to 1pm.
